OWLS

Op de rand van postrock, mathrock en progrock
balanceert het Gentse trio OWLS. Sinds begin 2012
speelt het drietal instrumentale nummers die zelden
afklokken onder de tien minuten. In mei 2012 won
OWLS de juryprijs op het ATB-concours in
Alveringem, wat hen (naast een ongezonde dosis ego
en rockstarattitude) een weekend in de bunkers van
de 4AD in Diksmuide opleverde. Gesterkt door heel
wat goedkoop bier uit de Lidl, profiteerden ze van de
gelegenheid om een eerste demo op te nemen. In
het najaar was het trio te gast in het programma
Playtown op de Brugse jongerenradio Villa Bota, alwaar ze de frigo plunderden en avances maakten
op de vrouwelijke radiohost. Gelukkig draaiden de camera’s non-stop en werd volgende videoclip
gemaakt: vimeo.com/52183864. OWLS is happy to meet you soon!
